Engaging the Urban

This publication is a record of an exhibit that occurred at the Paul L. Cejas School of Architecture Building at Florida International University in 2009 that showcased new infill projects by young architects in greater Miami. The impetus for this exhibit was to document the progress of decade long developer-driven building boom. While the intent of this exhibit was to mark a moment within this expansion it ultimately has become a record of its culmination. 19 projects from the exhibit have been selected for this publication. The majority of these projects are built and the remaining projects are either under construction or in progress.
