On September 15th, 2009 I shouldered my backpack and took the first steps of a journey that would change my perception of the road, society, people, the world and ultimately, myself. The destination was home, but I didn't know how far I had to travel, how long I had to explore or how much I had to see before I could return. I only knew that something was missing and I had to search for it, even if I didn't know what it was or where to find it.
Amazing book! I loved following his journey on this Walkabout! The whole story kept me enthralled from beginning to end and I had to read it all in one sitting. Now I'm itching to start my travels!
