Are you a poet? If so, you will probably love this book. Jason Alan Wilkinson, writes a book of poetry that tickles the writing passion of a poet. When you have some time, and want to read a book of 'a poet's poetry', grab a dictionary and be immersed in his thought provoking work. In addition to being thought provoking, I found his work to be passionate & poetic (meaning written in a poetry rhythm, with well seasoned words.) Even his 'rants' are written with a poetic melody. This is indeed a book of poetry. My favorite poem was "Persephone", and I loved the third & fourth stanzas... "See the clock it has... bent pages where our... fingertips met losing... colour in the exchange... day for night... an ice cream cone built... for the sunlit bezel time longing... to harden one’s physiognomy... It left a footprint on the mosses... bullets like a serried choir... tassels pendulating... to the loosened catch of gossamer... paint bottles under the causeway."

This poetry book is about a little of everything. Jason writes of love, society, people and the world as it is. He writes on paper and shows it, because that's how he wrote it. His poetry defies normal, but it works. Some of my favs are, One Less Thread To Dull The Blade, Where unkempt Flowers Bloom, Whispers Of The Morning. Thank you for sharing your passion with us.

This compilation of poems is pretty awesome. In my opinion it had tempo…some poems were soothing and others very intense. The verbiage was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Thank you for sharing!
