"The way of the rune" The way of the rune is more for someone getting started, and for us to understand a thing is to know where it comes from this book is ment to do exactly that. It doesnt speek of theroys in America it talks about two very famous stones found there which have been authenticated to be true rune stones. This book mostly talks about the origin of Rune stones, the northmen, difrent languages used in the modern day rune reading, It has the name of each rune stone with meanings, It also gets into the history of the northmen and mythology of odin so this makes it a perfict and complete book about runestones, it is more inteligent than the average rune stone books, cause it is more of a history book sorry if it was beond your understanding. but it is focused twords people who really want an indepth look of the true and complete history of runestones and how they can be put to good use in our lives today. since writing this book I have visited the poteau runestone... More > state park with my father james Cook who has resently passed. The runestone state park was remarkeable.< Less

"Way of something other than any of the Runes" Poor grammar and a lack of anything about using the runes make this a waste of your time and/or money. It seems to be merely a compilation of poorly researched "Rune in America" theories from the web. If you want good books on runes, read Thorsson or Paxson.
