Great book the poems are really beautiful and different. This is a great book for any Disney fan and there isn't another kind of book like it. Would completely recommend it!
Being a HUGE Disney fan, I am always trying to find something new to make me feel excited and ready for another Disney trip. I bought this book, and I have to say, I can't WAIT to get back to The World. Brad has put his heart and soul on paper and truly makes you feel like you are looking through he and his kid's eyes. It's amazing. Even if you have never personally experienced what he speaks of, you feel like you know exactly what he is talking about. The poems are short, but so powerful. A must have and must read for anyone who understands how magical Disney can be. Even if you aren't a Disney fanatic, get this book. I bet after reading Brad's beauties, you'll be well on your way to becoming one.
Brad Conway has been a police officer since 1998. He is passionate about anything Disney. Like many of us, Brad's passion for Disney started when he brought his children to Walt Disney World for the first time. Something magical happens when you walk through those gates and see the faces of your children light up! I learned about haiku in my modern literature class when I was in high school and we were required to write our own. I had a very difficult time with it but I managed to write one as it was part of our grade. I had not re-visited them until I saw one of Brad's haiku posted on a Disney Blog that I frequently read. I was completely enamored by this wonderful poetry for a couple of reasons. First of all, Brad's poetry was all about my very favorite topic, Disney! Secondly, I knew how difficult it was for me to write just one haiku and this man had lots of them! Wow, what a talent!
