"Palmer in History" Genealogy books are boring to read unless you are one of those mentioned. This book is enjoyable reading even if your name is not Palmer but is also useful as a source about some Palmer people in conventional family trees. And it goes much farther, into the whole ancestor business; migrations, mutations, race are all part of what you are whatever your family name, and here you sample it by following one family name wherever it goes.
