"Yes, brilliant!" A wonderful tale set in the 19th century in the Appalachian Mountains, West Virginia and created from a thought provoking song. It has all the ingredients for the perfect ghost story. Extremely well written, not only its glorious description but also its believable characters. I especially liked 'Padric' - he alone would make a fabulous mystical story. I loved it to its clever and surprising end (no spoilers)and would recommend this book to everyone. Fantastic!
