Post war residential developer Joseph Eichler worked predominantly in Northern California building over 11,000 Mid Century Modern homes between 1950 and 1974. In 1963 and 1964 his company Eichler Homes migrated south to Orange County and built 330 homes in three neighborhoods in the city of Orange.
This series of 50 pencil drawings by Jeffrey Crussell samples the three Orange neighborhoods and the models that were created by Joseph Eichler and his team of architects. Each original drawing was produced on 1000h vellum, scanned and reproduced as an archival pigment print in a limited edition of ten.
