October 2015 at 2 a.m., an attempted suicide almost took place in my home in the pitch-black darkness except for kitchen light. A butcher knife to my wrist with one last glance till I saw pictures of my two boys on one shelf, a bible on shelf below, and at last picture of my wife. For whatever reasons that may be, the attempt to cross the bridge that never once dreamed of has failed. Perhaps God was with me that night, perhaps Grim Reaper decided to visit another address. Perhaps, it was my own redemption for living another day. Perhaps, it was time to share my darkest and deepest thoughts and other mixed emotions for you to read. For those who carry the same chains and anchors like I do, you are not alone.
