Seventy-five 4th graders and their teachers at Delaware Elementary School in Iowa created the "Des Moines Doggy Daily," a fun and innovative way to teach others what it means to “Be Kind” to animals in their school and community. The students' remarkable work and interviews with author/illustrator, Jena Ball, whose book served as the basis for the project, is captured here for all to see and enjoy.
