This book heralds the Satanic Age, when Man becomes his own master. It is a must read for Satanist and non-Satanist alike; as it finally shows the True face of Satan.....as received from Satan! Eye-opening and Evolutionary!
I decided to buy this because a friend recommended it to me. All I can say is WOW! Very impressive. I highly recommend this to everyone as its content is as unique as its style is eloquent. This is one Lady's book you have got to read! Marie, I think you are right on about the Yankee Rose and ISBN ending in 666. This was one of LaVey's secrets that he never revealed. Could be a reference to his successor? Not sure, but as far as I'm concerned, The New Testament of Satan goes hand in hand with The Satanic Bible as the female voice of Satan. Something EVERY type of Satanist should read.
I ‘received’ this book in the Spring of 2001 during a ‘visitation’ with the late, Anton Szandor LaVey. I began writing it in November 2003. From start to finish, it took me three months. Yet I waited another 9 years to publish it. Unlike many of the Satanic books out there, which are more or less unauthorized ‘copies’ of LaVey’s Satanic Bible, and therefore, ‘nothing new’; my book stands alone as something truly unique. Although it reiterates many of LaVey’s key points, it expands upon them a more spiritual understanding of Satanism… something I term, Third Wave Satanism. Satanism is certainly a carnal religion, yet there still seems to be a largely untapped spiritual dimension, or as LaVey put it, a grey area between psychiatry and religion. This is not Theistic Satanism! One can remain an Atheist without discarding the spiritual dimension in its entirety. A Third Wave of Satanism is born, and an Anti-Church, THE TEMPLE OF MAN is founded! For those who’ve had it with hard-nosed... More > realists or theistic psycho-babblers, I give you The New Testament of Satan, the Official Satanic Doctrine for the New Age, The Age of Satan, that is here!< Less
I absolutely love this book! I have read it through several times now. The author does a great job. This would appeal to a Theistic Satanist as well as an Atheistic Satanist, as the author seems to be able to blend the concepts seamlessly into each other(yes, a unified Satanism!)By dedicating the book to LaVey, she also gives credit where credit is due. I have to wonder, however, if the title, 'The Rose of the East' is an allusion to YANKEE ROSE? I am 59 years old and that enigma of LaVey's has fascinated me for a long time. 2012 is 46 years from LaVey founding his church and Yankee Rose adds up, remarkably, to 46. I also noticed that the book's ISBN ends in 666! This book is VERY empowering! It seems to possess a soul all its own. Hail Jennifer!
I'm very happy I ordered this book. Very informative and unique in content. I believe the author has finally defined the 'grey area between psychiatry and religion' that LaVey mentioned. Highly recommended!
