"Untitled review" This photobook is more then just a sequence of a moment. Illustrated is a procedure of many women's routine, which could simply be called 'removing make up'. Though this process of damasking is so private, that it is expected to be done in front of a mirror and that alone. Although this book is a very personal it engages with a common subject. The photographs open the issue of gender and shows cultural context with the masquerade. The 'before and after' concept is popular in demonstrating a progress and that usually from good to better. In this work the transition has been reversed and the finished product will give reason to reconsider what's really best? The subtle change and close focus of the images suite the layout and design of the photobook. The full bleed with one image per page are broken up by collages, that give time to reflect and overview the content and makes it visually more accessible.
