Note, dear reader, that I am someone who doesn't care for vampires in particular (definitely not a Twilight fan), let alone vampire romance. However, I do love comedy. So, with that in mind, I dove into this book with the assumption that I would be mildly entertained at whatever fun pokes this book would contain. I was so wrong. The narrator makes you feel like he's your buddy. He's telling you a story in a quite personable way. He doesn't assume that you know your stuff when it comes to vampires, so he explains it to you. And he lets you in on some extra tidbits about the characters and whatnot as the story is progressing. Cleverly, the narrator also weaves together some facts about vampires that sheds a new light on what I already knew about them in the first place. Yeah, there's the romance parts, too. But, most importantly, there was at least one moment where I became giddy with excitement, laughed, and all that jazz. I can't wait for the second book, and I'm not even somebody... More > that you'd think would be a part of the vampire romances audience. Well, I'm still not, but, really, the genre should not deter anybody from picking up this book. What should deter people from reading it, is a genuine disliking for humor and pleasant reading. I'd like to think that you don't have these issues, though, so go ahead and bite this opportunity in the butt. Or neck. Whichever.< Less

I've been a fan of the series ever since I first heard of it. But now I love BITE for a new reason. With this book, you get parts of the series that answers questions that can arise. Another wonderful part of the book is that the fan gets to see new sides of the characters that they grew to love. If you love BITE or just vampires in general, this is the book for you!

A very fun adaptation of a web series that I thoroughly enjoyed. Even though the market is rather saturated with vampire literature Bit takes a fun look it. The comedic aspects sometimes even point out the connections it could have with Twilight with cousin Eddie and certain allergies. Overall a short but enjoyable story that actually holds onto a span of emotions (from true love to anger to just pettiness with different characters) that one might not think could fit in less then 70 pages. If you're looking for a good summer read get bit by Bite.
