Jesus announces his mission to his own hometown and they are shocked by what they hear. Would we be shocked if Jesus made the same announcement in our church? Some churches spend a great deal of money writing their own mission statements, isn't the Lord's mission statement good enough? Simply put, do the poor call you good news?
