The Watermelon Tree

This is a compilation of journal entries, thoughts, doodles of the first year on my journey through recovery from hurts in the past. I went through roughly five composition notebooks as I tried to make sense of what I had gone through and focus on how I was going to win my family back. That first year was tough. I was turbulent. It was scary. But it was also exhilarating. It was like free falling knowing that God was the safety net. I hope the verses of scripture, stories and excerpts help and encourage.
