"Dreams of Flight" A deep. many-layered collection of beautifully crafted poems. It feels as if every word has been induvidually agonised over, every line honed to a polish. This is not comfortable reading, the subjects and themes often dark, highly charged and obviously personal. "Pillaging the Landscape of the Brain" is my favourite, as sharp as a scalpel, disturbing and as visceral as its subject. This is the work of a serious, talented writer. Buy it, this is an important anthology.

"Dreams of Flight" This collection explores the whole gamut of emotions facing us in the early 21st Century: losing love, living with illness, acknowledging genocides, feelings of belonging and non-belonging. Lawrence looks these issues in the eye with painful but rewarding honesty.

"Dreams of Flight" Great poems, very well written with interesting rhythms and wonderful but subtle alliteration. The imagery draws on the natural world which merges with the human consciousness and with a range of emotions from anguish, joy, lamentation and celebration. Highly recommended.
