Given that you can purchase the 11 "volumes" of this series bound together from the original publisher for less than three times the price, very disappointing. This is the introduction to the combined volume, and so (one hopes) the least full of hard data or useful ideas and the most full of generic overviews that offer nothing I haven't seen before. Attempting to be compatible with "any ... milieu" means it's not got internally consistent facts, but it also doesn't even have extended examples to provide inspiration. The artistic quality of the illustrations isn't bad, but they (again) aren't very inspirational, and significantly reduce the effective page count. If I could un-buy it, I would.
