"Ollie" is a Giggling Books children's story about a little oyster who longs to play with his friends, but because of physical limitations cannot get around on his own. Ollie is full of self-pity and anger for not having any arms or legs (fins) with which to swim as all of his pals have, and because he disobeys his parents, he gets himself into a very dangerous, "pearl-less" situation in which he almost loses his life. It has a couple of unique twists and a very happy ending.

"The Pearl-less Adventures of Ollie the Oyster" What a fantastic book! I bought this book when my daughter was 5. Emme was just beginning to read and now being 6, she is a proficient reader! She was enamored with the fact that the book's pages turned on the computer screen! She liked it so much; we ordered the book on-line for her class room. This book is excellent for many reasons...one being it deomonstrates that one can overcome their "shortcomings" no matter what. LuAnn B. Trumbull, CT
"The Pearl-Less Adventures of Ollie the Oyster" Well what can one say after reading this inspiring book for children as well as adults. I think as we teach our children from this wonderful book we should revisit our own morals and reflect if we are living up to this book. I can remember learning these values on life as a child.I hope there will be more of these books that teach feeling for others and did not teach violence as does everything on tv. Bravo Jimmy D.
