This book is a history of the Medina River Baptist Association (located in the Texas Hill Country) which was formed on the banks of the Medina River in 1888. It is also known as the Hill Country Baptist Association which is more descriptive of the area it serves. The area encompasses approximately 5,000 square miles and is composed of Southern Baptist churches in the Texas counties of Kendall, Bandera, Kerr, Gillespie and Kimble.
