Being a member of the church this book is based on gave me a unique perspective when reading this book. Jim Shroyer does a great job of describing this melting pot of characters that converge on this Presbyterian church sanctuary in the middle of a predominately Mormon society. His message comes across loud and clear - we are all at a 'crossroads' at a some point in our life - but if we are open to it and ready for it - change and possibilities are always just around the corner. I can't wait for the next book!

This book is a must read and should be on the shelf of anyone who must live and work in an area where the culture is different from the usual Protestant ideals we all know.

This book made me cry, laugh and praise God for His never-ending grace! I love Glenn Heiss. More, more, more, please. Oh my, this looks like Jim wrote the review, but not so - an avid reader visiting his home and using his computer. Anyway, I loved it!
