An excellent book. I completed two tours at Greenham Common in the 1980's and this book corrects many misconceptions promulgated by left wing politicians and their followers in the UK. I would recommend this book to those who wish to learn the real history of the base.
"In Defense of Freedom" Being stationed at RAF Greenham Common/Welford for three years, I find this book to be outstanding in everyway. Anyone who loves history, has got to read it. The author has done an excellent job with details. I highly recommend it. Of the seven duty stations I had during my Air Force career, RAF Greenham Common/Welford was the best.
