The Warren Company is in dire straits as recent productions have brought it to the edge of bankruptcy, though none of the actors or the technical crew know it. A new artistic director, a relative of the chairman of the board, has been imposed to try and help, but he is already spending way too much, and his employment of a soap star celebrity, in the role of Hamlet, is looking risky. Meanwhile a secret vandal is taking a toll on the scenery and props, and sending the back room staff into meltdown. Can cast and crew survive, or is closure on the programme?
