In the aftermath of the Third World War, Earth is ruled with an iron fist by a single family, The Cadliacs. Farina, a maid who works for the Cadliac family, is an orphan whose parents were killed fighting for freedom against the evil ruling family. When Prince Sadba poisons his father and becomes king in his stead, he forces Farina to stand alongside him as his queen. With the help of the rebels, however, Farina escapes and joins the resistance just as her parents had done years before. As a loyal member of the rebellion, Farina finds herself a key player in the War for Independence as well as a victim of love.
