"Re: Eerie and Close to Home!" Thank you Brando for your kind review. I'm delighted the story held your interest and connected with your Celtic Irish ancestry. None of us wanted to join this club of parents who have lost their children and my heart goes out to you in the loss of your first born child. All the best....Jo

"Eerie and Close to Home!" I found the book, "Child of Danaan" to be a good read, eerie and close to home (I too lost my firstborn son early in his life and am also a descendant of Danaan through the Great King/General Milesius according to our family history chart). Joanne has a powerful yet delightful and mysterious way of putting her experiences into a mystical fable sort of way. She kept me interested through the entire experience and I found I couldn't put the book down reading it in its entirety the same day it arrived. I recommend this book to everyone who is interested in the supernatural and the power of Celtic traditions." Brando Quin, author of, "The Master Painter"

"Child of Danaan" I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it...it was a real page turner. It was a very interesting story told in a fabled sort of way that gives hope and understanding to others especially those who have lost someone very close to them. It provides depth and understanding to the irish mystic ways as well as interprets signage from the other side. An enlightening read and I hope that there will be a sequel!
