In the year 2000, my marriage began to fail and I found solace in writing poetry. I gained knowledge from my own words and I began to grow and find strength to face what was later to come my way…
A range of Poetry written from lifes' struggles - from wishing to wisdom, from sickness to health, from lonliness to love.

"Thank you" Joanne, Your book has been a blessing to me in the darkest time of my life. After the most wonderful time of my life, the birth of my two children within 17 months of each other I had to endure a divorce. I won't go into the details but it was not my choice or doing that the divorce happened. what does matter is that I am now not able to be with my children as much as I would like or that they need me. It seems so unfair and has driven me almost over the edge, emotionally. A good friend gave me your book as a gift and I have found it has given me an inner strength to take every day as it comes and look to the future. I realize that the past can not be undone but we can learn from it and press on with our lives. I can not thank you enough for all your words. they say "A picture is worth a thousand words" but I felt the picture of my life was worth nothing till I read your words of inspiration, hope and love. Many other things have happened to me over the... More > last year as well that have at times brought me to my knees. Each time I would seek the words I needed to hear in the pages of Silet whispers. One poem that I love so much is "choices". This poem alone would be worth every penny and more of the books cost. I can't repay my friend enough for her gift nor you for your words. May you always be a winner in the fight against the cancer that once plagued you. You are an earth bound Angel! Paul Shepherd< Less
