I absolutely adore this webcomic. It has such wit and humor, but it can serious when it needs to be. It is a good read for anyone in the LGBT community and is a nice breath of fresh air from the smut you see related to this subject. Whether you are a teenager trying to discover yourself or an adult looking for a good read, this book is amazing for anyone. It's simply gorgeous. I would highly recommend it.

The book is brilliant, the text has improved alot since Volume 1 and the overall art seems to transition nicely into a crisper style throughout the pages. I'd recommend both volume 1 and volume 2 to anyone if they're even just considering whether to buy them or not.

With better quality, a great extra chapter, and cool fan art, this is totally worth getting. Such a great series!

I was excited to hear there was going to be a Volume 2, and I jumped right on it, and as good as the first one was, this one is even better, for a host of reasons. Firstly, it's easier to read - the text is much better. Better than that, it's a book, which is easier for me to read than web pages. And ALL of Volume 2 is here, because as much as I like to think I read them all, I didn't, and it fills in some gaps - it's a great way to catch up. All that being said, the real beauty of Rain is the writing. The art is cute, adorable even, but the story carries it for me. It's a story grounded in a fair amount of reality and speaks loudly to me, and others like me. There is an audience out here, and we very much appreciate the voice Rain brings out.

Love the series, love the volumes! Just owning it is exciting enough for a fangirl (or fanboy, or fanperson), and it's a perfect gift for a fellow Rain Beau ^u^ The exclusive bits in the printed versions are so worth it, too ;) It's heartening to see stories written by queer-identified people, for queer-identified people (or just anyone who can enjoy a good story about queer peeps, I suppose :D) The character Rain reminds me so much of myself it hurts, but it's so wonderful too. Reading this comic just makes me want to see Rain and her friends get through all the crap they put up with, at school, with family, and in society at large, and get back to being awesome and adorable. You'll more than likely end up feeling for every one of the main cast, and some of the supporting cast as well. (See Emily, in my case >u>) Much love for the series, the creator, and Rain Beaus everywhar! ^_^
