LUCY AND THE MAGIC FACTORY by Joe DeMonte
Meet Lucy Larson, a lovable, perky and curious ten year old,
with a fascination for magic and all that goes with it. When her
father bestows upon her a trip to a theme park, known as The
Magic Factory, little Lucy is enthralled. Once there, Lucy gets lost,
and winds up in an off limits section of the theme park , where
she meets up with some zany, but wonderful, characters. She
experiences the time of her young life there, but once she is
able to return to her family, no one believes what she went
through. Thus, Lucy sets out, along with her best friend, Krista, to
gain “proof” of her encounter by returning to The Magic Factory
on her own. She goes through peril after peril doing so, but
finally manages to set the record straight. In the end, Lucy
discovers what real magic is. This story has a strong moral
message, and is an ideal read for kids, ages 8 to 12.
