"..." I am attempting to interpret contemporary American poetry still. Reading your preview intrigues me still more about its direction. Is this style reflective of our modern society, a sort of sardonic chaos, dissolution of social bonds, the perception of meaningless or the evolution of existentialism, the inner wheel impelling it? Yet, there is a wit and poignancy about your work that is compelling and appealing. This is a fine effort worthy of acclaim and success. George
"brilliant verses" There is real talent here, combined with a power to shock. This is especially impressive as the poet is not writing in his first language. Bonne Chance! Ian
This very strange, very sombre work is one of the best things I have read on Lulu. Poignant, yet funny hee hee, but not really sort of thing. It moves from the apocalyptic/post apocalyptic done in a Shakespearian/Elvis 'all the world's a stage' type patter, to more sombre humourless observation of a minimum wage worker with the usual problems of status in this hard and harsh world. There's also a classic gag in the middle, it may be a tad inflammatory, but never mind. This was so good, I'm sorry the preview came to too soon an end. Very well done. John Haines ( Josh Rogan )
Very unique strange style. The poems chilled me to the spine. To be honest, this is the best piece of work I have reviewed on Lulu so far. A great collection of poetry. Excellent book Joe Good luck Emmanuel Florial
