A friend of mine gave me this exciting novel about the lives of the poor souls who live beneath the streets of Boston. I read it to and from from my work in Cambridge and located one of the abandoned tunnels the author wrote about. The story has more twists and turns than a red line train. I ride the subway every day and the author really understands the politics of policing in the bastions of liberalism.
