I haven't read anything like this since "The Catcher in the Rye." Like Holden Caulfield's coming of age, Michael Levitt's conflict, angst, cynicism and rebellious sprit permeates his attempt to find himself in a challenging and corrupt world. Certainly Levine's "The Corruption of Michael Levitt" is set in a different time and place than Salinger's masterpiece, but the feeling I was left with after finishing each book was very similar. Great novel for our generation.

Great story telling! It was fast, clever, inspirational, a little shocking at times...enough to make you red in the face, but to want to make you read it that much more. I woke up this morning thinking about finishing the book and couldn't wait to get up to read it.

An extraordinary tale we can all relate to. The journey we travel with Michael Levitt is a great deal of fun with unique twists and turns throughout his memorable adventure.

I was planning on keeping this book around and reading a little bit at a time, but I couldn't help but tear through the entire thing in a weekend. So while it sounds cliched, I cant think of a better way to describe this book than RIVETING (Well Ok, brilliant, insightful, funny, sexy etc. all work as well. Highly recommend it!!!!!!!!

This book was recommended to me by an attorney, and while I'm not an attorney—I thought it was fantastic.

The slow corruption of a pretty good guy … done so smoothly, we barely know when good turns bad.

I'm reading this book and can identify with Michael Levitt at each step of his life. So when all of a sudden he's concocting these creative schemes and breaking the law, it all seems morally right to me. It's as if we are happily corrupted along with the main character.

This book either makes me want to go to law school or never have anything to do with law, but, I certainly know who I'd want for representation if I ever needed it — Michael Levitt.

Immensely relatable. Michael Levitt feels like a close friend telling me his irresistible story. A gem.
