In Retaliation Consequences Capt JT Buckton, his crew and ship are once again put to the test. This time Capt Buckton is assigned the position of Deputy Commander of a task force being sent to the alliance planets Logel and Styros, two planets that have come under attack by unknown forces. At first this seems like any other invasion of alliance space but things are vastly different. At headquarters and by many in the fleet, JT is recognized as the best tactical expert in the alliance. So being assigned as deputy commander is smart since the task force commander has zero battle experience and very little tactical classroom training and even less tactical battlefield scenario training. However, the admiral disregards Capt Buckton's battle plan in favor of his own and as a result things become chaotic and go awry. Tensions escalate and some very heated words are exchanged and some on JT's staff recommend he relieve the admiral of his command. It sounds like a mutiny?
