Wagner Township is a township in Aitkin County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 332 as of the 2010 census.Wagner Township was named for Bessie Wagner, later Bessie Hammond of Montana, an assistant in the Aitkin County register of deeds.According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.9 square miles (92.9 km2), of which 35.0 square miles (90.7 km2) is land and 0.85 square miles (2.2 km2), or 2.37%, is water.The township contains these two cemeteries: Immanuel Lutheran and Wagner Township.As of the census of 2000, there were 320 people, 142 households, and 99 families residing in the township. The population density was 9.1 people per square mile (3.5/km²). There were 377 housing units at an average density of 10.8/sq mi (4.2/km²).
