I’ve been a long-standing admirer of Hutch as a singer and guitarist, and now he turns out to be a great writer too. Of course, he really has a story to tell, from his musical roots in small town Scarborough, to world tours with David Bowie, so it’s not surprising that the book is fascinating. Bowie fans will love the insights into his early days, and anyone who wants a bit of 'sex, drugs and rock and roll' will not be disappointed. I couldn't put it down from start to finish.
