A Comment on Presidential Pronouncements

Presidential pronouncements hold more power than we can imagine. The pronouncements that are made in the course of occupying the highest office in the land are critical to the health of a nation. I do not envy this office because one must think before they speak, a task that the Zambian President has handled well. Here are a few comments on some selected pronouncements that have been made by the President of Zambia, H.E Edgar Chagwa Lungu. The comments give a glimpse into the critical world as we seek to be a part of our national ideology of participatory democracy through tenets such as the freedom of speech.
