“Joe Miller” has been written to be representative of Arbor Vitae Book’s ability to tell the stories of real American men and women in a fashion suitable for children to read. Arbor Vitae Book’s biography project’s purpose is to give grandmothers and grandfathers the opportunity to have their stories recorded for their families. “Joe Miller” is a composite of real people, real places, real events and real experiences. Actual Arbor Vitae Book’s biographies are the property of the participants and their families, and cannot be properly used as samples, hence the need for “Joe Miller”.
