John writes poetry. With his every word lies the insanity of our lives as a language. He is a product of the soul of Latin America, despite being born in the capital of the United States. The rhythm of his mother and his father's past lives flow through his poetry, and each poem is an inner-discovery of sexuality, instinct, and illusion. He studies English Literature and Latin American Studies at Pace University. So far in 2011, John has published his own chapbook, as well as placing in both Pace University's English Department's Writing Awards and the second annual Finding Gabriela Mistral Poetry Contest, hosted by the Chilean embassy. He hopes to invite you into the cultural subconscious, as well as carry on the madness of the previous generations.
