"Re: comment" My profound apologies. This was one of the very first books I formatted and I knew very little -- I was learning. I hate that anyone is disappointed with my products. I'm 64 now and have been doing these books since I turned 50. That's a poor excuse but I will pull this and reformat it as soon as my wife takes the shackles off my hands. (That's a joke, friends . . . .) I will say that the entire book is here, every word. I will bring down the price as far as possible without me having to pay Lulu. If you want the experience, knowledge and emotional impact of "Andersonville: A Union Prisoner's Inside Story", then it's right here. I may have used the wrong pdf or even used the Lulu service with a file. At any rate, thanks for letting me know. I can't afford to buy every book I format.

I thought this was a different book than the original Andersonville: A Story of Rebel Military Prisons, Fifteen Months a Guest of the So-Called Southern Confederacy. by John McElroy and originally published in 1879 but it's not. The description does not disclose that this is a reprint from the original. For a book of exceptional content and first-hand account of prison confinement during the civil war - this version of the book does not do it justice. This content of the book is very poorly formatted - no paragraph indentations, terrible line breaks. Chapter breaks are irregularly spaced and misaligned to the pages - it looks terrible. The type is small and sans-serif which makes it difficult to read. Not quite an immense book - just under 350 pages - 348 to be exact. C-
