Ramses' Puppets - Part 2

ByJohn Neville

It is 1260 BC: after ten long years, the Trojan War is coming to an end. This gripping historical novel tells the story of the final months of the Trojan War from the perspectives of Achilles, Hector and Agamemnon. In Part 1 of "Ramses’ Puppets" the Greeks under Agamemnon almost succeeded in taking Troy. But Pharaoh Ramses’ daughter Bintanath (Athena) withdrew her support at the last moment, snatching victory from the Greek Army. At the end of Part 1 the up-through-the-ranks Trojan soldier, Halius, was sent on a dangerous mission to the Greek camp with instructions to offer the Greeks a peace deal. The second and final part of "Ramses’ Puppets" continues this story. Whilst "Ramses’ Puppets" is a stand-alone novel, it is also part of a two-novel series titled "The Trojan Chronicles" which closely follows the plot of Homer's "Iliad", taking the reader on a journey back in time over three thousand years. The other novel in the Trojan Chronicles is titled "Ramses – I am Zeus".
