Two years on from the four dialogues of 'A Question of Belief' (1978) and Mr O'Loughlin has produced another collection of philosophical dialogues which, this time, are unified by a stylistic and thematic consistency deriving from his new-found (at this time) commitment to Transcendentalism. Although some of the political theorizing is now somewhat dated, the main thrust of the project in relation to the growth and development of a transcendental alternative to the world is still valid and will hopefully continue to be so in the years and decades to come.
