This is a collection of portraits from what looks like a computer conference. There are a few images of famous individuals, such as Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Most of the images are of non-celebrities, and there's a good representation of multiple races and ages scattered throughout. It does seem as if the photographer knows many of these people, as they let him take intimate photos of them that are unflattering. But the photographer doesn't do them as an affront to the subjects, only as an observational tactic. Overall, the mix of photos leaves the viewer wanting to know more about the people photographed, and I wish Ito would have given some context so the viewer has an anchor to base their viewing.
