In a Britain that is slowly disintegrating, control has become a delicate luxury. Social boundaries are being torn down as drugs flow free, violence is entertainment and the long road of decline is reaching its peak. As the vulnerable UK suffers a hit she cannot take, she finally collapses to her knees, beginning a snowballing of events. Ollie McIntyre experiences from start to finish the inter-winding devastation of the drug culture on his friends, and the loss of control over the country. When a staggering reality comes out, the people of Britain are suddenly faced with the intersection – either to accept their losses in meek submission; or to fight to regain their lost control. A mix of reality and an uncomfortable 'it-could-happen' fiction results in this dramatic, fast-paced, sometimes humorous but overall ominous book.
