The Intersection is youthful and fresh, given from the perspective of a young adult amidst the chaos of a Britain teetering on the edge losing control. The author shows very promising talent in being able to absorb the reader in the storyline with gripping twists and colourful characters. As a reader I found it easy to identify with the main protagonist, Ollie, and to really empathise with him during the challenges he faces as Britain collapses into pandemonium. The quality of the description throughout The Intersection was very high which really helped me to imagine the scenes as Ollie would have seen them. Touching on sensitive subjects of gang-culture, violence, drugs and corruption Prosser has managed to write a highly thrilling novel that, in light of recent riots that have occurred in the UK, is frightfully precognitive.
