When the ancient artificial life form known as the Poneri make an appearance, the Stryker twins are forced to battle them before they can travel on to the 73rd century. No one else in the 19th century has the ability to fight this evil menace - and no one else can help them. Stryker #2 picks up with the already fast pace set in book #1. We find the Stryker twins struggling to understand what has just happened to them, who the Sentinal is and why are they being attacked by the shadow beings called the Poneri. The action is thrilling and the ending keeps the momentum going into book #3. You'll enjoy the sci-fi technical aspects and the alternate history of the earth, but even more you'll appreciate the unfolding of an even grander story of our future in heaven.
