I was very excited when I saw this and grabbed my copy as quick as I could! The collection is beautifully made, telling a story that leaves you hopeful and wanting more, though content with what you have at the last page. Jonathan writes beautifully, and the images and thoughts his words bring out keep me hungry for the next page. Each poem carries you to a new place, making you glad to hurry back to the beginning as soon as you reach the end.
The title is misleading. Reading "Empty" will fill you with delight. Giggles and grins are evoked by clever, coy poems. In addition to the lighthearted are more grave pieces that convey those thoughts and emotions that keep us up at night. Overall, the author expresses a sense of hope. Genuinely enjoyable; you'll want to digest it in one sitting, but it's not a once-and-done kind of book--you'll want to want to refill your mind with its words often.
he makes the simplest things unbelievable beautiful. the seemingly unimportant , magnificent. things you wish you could express, he put perfectly. i don't mean to sound cheesy, but this is a truly lovely book.
