In the last few decades, the debate on free will has taken a strong emphasis on the implications of quantum theory. Proponents of free will have taken quantum theory to demonstrate that the world is not deterministic and that we - thus - have a genuine free will.
This book examines this libertarian argument, as well as the assumptions it is based on. The conclusion, perhaps sadly, is that they are wrong. Indeterminism, as you shall see, fails to live up to its promise; the promise of a free will!
