Coach Joe - What I Learned from the Kids

Children are an investment. When I decided to have them I became obligated to do the best I could as a parent. It takes a lot of effort, but I can’t imagine anything more rewarding than watching them draw from their own experiences to make the right decisions in the future. I wrote this book because I realized that I was benefitting more from my volunteering than the kids were from my coaching. Coaching gave me the opportunity to listen and learn from hundreds of kids. I didn’t realize that what I learned would help me raise my own kids and become the foundation for how I live my life; personally and professionally. All of the stories are true and each one has its own life lesson. I am grateful for the experiences, lucky enough to have seen their value, and happy to be able to share them with you.
