The Servant of Hadenshawl

What if the land of your people was entailed away, and your Duchess was forced to wed a Nobleman from a hated foreign land? What if you wanted her to wed the faithful Knight of your people instead? From the beginning, Katerina's loyalty is to the people of Halfox, yet her heart longs for her Knight Sir Donwell, who has faithfully held the charge of her safety since he was a youth. Now a man of war fully grown, she would like nothing more than to spurn the claims of House Renault and take Donwell to be her Duke, thus reviving the claims of the Scotts to the land, but to do so will mean open war with France.
