Born in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, UK, in 1935, Josephine Brocklesby studied English at Nottingham University and was awarded a degree in 1958. In 1959 she moved to Perth in Western Australia with her husband, who was a lecturer at the University of Western Australia. She taught English at St. Hilda’s School from 1967 to 1979. She has been writing poetry since she was a school girl and has published several poems in literary reviews.
Reflections is a collection of poems written over a lifetime spent between England and Australia.
