Let Him Come Hither

In 2009, a little after his eighteenth birthday, Joshua Bell began a pilgrimage to Rome - an exploit described by many of his friends as impossible. In spite of this skepticism, Joshua set out, and on December 1st, 2009, arrived in St. Peter's Square. Based on and expanded from the blog he kept whilst walking, Let Him Come Hither is the story of what happens when reliance on God is combined with an insatiable curiosity and occasionally irrational bloody-mindedness in the face of difficulty.
