Here is a story of a boy,
Whose heart wounded after a fall,
As pride hardened his heart,
Nobody seemed to get close to him at all.
“I’m better off by myself”,
A lie and everyone knew it,
For which he was never actually alone,
As he possessed the love for music.
For it was the rhythm that kept him alive,
The melody protected something gigantic;
As it guarded life’s most precious gift,
The love of a hip hop romantic.
His mind filled with ideas,
He was nothing less than a dreamer,
Who stuck by his heart no matter the cost,
Nothing more than a believer.
This is a story how he changed his reality,
when life seemed to push and shove,
when all hope seemed lost,
when surely he forgot how to love.
He faced his fears and moved forward,
Even when his back was against the wall,
For it was better that he had loved,
Than not have loved at all.
