TLDR: It's fantastic and I absolutely recommend this. I have had a lot of drawing books over the years. This is different from most. This is for people who know the basics of shape drawing, and doesn't go much into shading. What it does do is explain physical limitations of the body, gives in-depth examples of how to make your figures more accurate. Also, for the digital artists it gives color swatches which are useful with skin tones, eye, and hair color. This is a fantastic resource, and the best investment I've made in a while. The author's website has a lot of examples from this book for free, but there is much more useful information within that is not on their website.

This is a superb tutorial and I believe beginners and experts alike would benefit from instilling the information and practicing the many references and pointers within this very comprehensive ebook. The talented author offers tips that are often subtle, yet create a distinctive naturalized look in your drawings. I love the emotions chart and the tips on drawing ethnicities. 100% recommended!

Absolutely EXCELLENT set of tutorials! I found another work by this author on Deviant Art a LOOONG time ago that served as an amazing resource in my compositions. Then, when I saw there was a more in-depth set of tutorials I had to check it out! I'm so glad I did! A+ from me...
